Speakers that are not only good looking but also of a good quality can be hard to find. Especially if you have a knack for something old-school. Christopher Locke creates hand-made amplifiers called “Analog Tele-Phonographers” purposed to volume up your iPhone or iPad and at the same time to bring out the old times vibe. He designs custom-built loudspeakers from recycled trumpets, trombones, french horns and other brass instruments.
The design concept of an old-fashioned phonograph definitely adds some extra charm. What’s good about these unusual amplifiers is that they require no external power source. You can check out how they work in the video.
