Moose frolicking on your lawn is an unusual sight, but Candice Helm of Eagle River, Alaska, recently had the pleasure. Temperatures had reached a hot (for Alaska) 21.6 C (71 F) on Sunday when Helm spotted a mother moose and twin calves in distress. Her solution was simple genius.

“They just strolled around the house and looked really hot,” Helm told local news station KTUU-TV. “So we turned on the sprinklers and they were happy.”

The two calves played in the sprinkler while their mother watched on. Eventually, even she joined in! Check out this remarkable moment of human kindness below.
