Dad Turns Son’s Head-Shaping Helmets Into Star Wars Art To Wear After Surgery

Baby Jack suffered from craniosynostosis, a condition where an infant skull prematurely fuses by turning into bone, changing its growth pattern. Helmets can be worn as a corrective measure, his loving father painted Jack’s helmets with Star Wars iconography. We previously covered similar stories here.

One in 2000 children are born with craniosynostosis; if left untreated, the affected child can suffer from various impairments. Yesterday was Jack’s birthday and also last day wearing his helmet.
