Kendra Trent, 27, has recently shared an adorable photo of her brother Jordan Trent, 32, who lives in Georgetown, Texas, holding a tiny one-eyed Australian Shepherd that no one else wanted.

Jordan went to a market place looking for a dog with his children. When the kids saw the dog, they said: “He’s blind in one eye like you, Daddy. We have to get him!” “No one wanted him, which was perfect,” said Jordan. They got him and named Shiner Solo.

Jordan lost vision in his left eye doing yardwork when he was 15 years old. “He’s been really great about it,” said Kendra. “He told everybody in school that he was going to get a cow’s eye as a transplant. He kept making jokes to make everyone feel comfortable.”
