One day when I was in grade four, me and my best friend started this joke at lunch: catapulting a carrot around the grade four table with a spoon. It was sort of funny at first, but nothing really cool. Usually, the boys were just really surprised when a baby carrot suddenly landed right in Fred’s yogurt or something of the sort. But then one day…I think I must have hit the spoon way too hard. The carrot went flying across the room and hit a popular girl in grade three right on the head, and she literally put her face in her bowl of soup. As if that didn’t make it enough like a sitcom, one guy laughed so hard he spat yogurt all over the popular girl from my grade, and she threw a banana at him. We were about to get in a full-on food fight when the teacher interrupted us by standing on a table and shouting at us to not act like wild animals. It was really funny. I know this story isn’t super-incredible, but it is really funny.
