Anybody who uses public transportation or simply lives in a city knows how disturbing, annoying, tiring or even icky being in a crowded space can feel like. This was the everyday problem that industrial designer Slew Ming Cheng decided to solve with the “Spike Away” vest that she created during the 1.5-day-long “Chindogu” design workshop at the National University of Singapore.
