Inspired by a dream, Toronto-based photographer Vanessa Paxton created a gorgeous series of ballerina portraits.
“I wanted it to have that rhythm of falling into sleep, or waking up from a dream. It is photographic exploration into the simultaneous freedom and solitude of the dancer,” says the Jamaican-born artist on her website.
