This is a series of pictures lit by hand by Eric Paré. The “hand-lighting” technique is described as a hybrid of light-painting and studio lighting photography. Every picture is made in the dark, where the subject stays still for a second, while Eric is drawing the light using a flashlight and some filters. See the first full tutorial at the end of the gallery. Eric is quite active on Facebook, where you can learn a bit more about the technique.
