In at attempt to break free from making small scale paintings that can be priced to sell I came up with the idea of The Puzzle Painting. Hopefully, that is exactly what it sounds like, but if you need a little clarification it is simply one BIG painting comprised of multiple wood panels. Personally, I love making big paintings. The problem with big paintings is that they are usually harder to sell. Some collectors don’t have the space to hang or the money to purchase 10′ long paintings. With this in the mind, The Puzzle Painting was born and a campaign was launched on the ever popular and growing website, Kickstarter.
Panels range in size from 4″ squares up to 16″ squares. The painting will be executed as if it is one giant painting and as a backer you get a piece of the puzzle. If a piece of the puzzle isn’t something your interested in, but you’d still like to support the project there are several other rewards you can choose from, including a Kickstarter exclusive T-Shirt.
