Brazilian graphic designer Butcher Billy came up with a beautiful idea how to experiment with the course of pop culture history. In his “Reversed Music Icons Fandom Project” the designer used the photographs of the most influential rock legends and made them appear wearing the t-shirts of the bands and musicians that they themselves would actually influence to be formed decades later. Pretty trippy, huh?
Butcher Billy poses a question: “Bands and musicians that became hugely influential in music history – would they, when alive or in an early stage of their careers, support the new acts that came decades after inspired by their own legacy?”
