Even if you know what nigiri, gunkan or norimaki means, don’t consider yourself a big sushi expert just yet. Japan-based company Tange & Nakimushi Peanuts present to you the Neko-sushi (Sushi Cats) – a bizarrely cute photo series of kittens resting on top of sushi rice.
According to the creators, Sushi Cats have been out and about since the beginning of time – in the “History of Sushi Cats” video you can see these magical historical creatures depicted in cave paintings, Egyptian hieroglyphs and samurai portraits.
