Waiting for someone to play with. Goats have been an important part of peoples lives for thousands of years. Milk, wool, meat and of course some chaos. I can’t imagine a spring without birthing of baby goats, fresh milk, the start of cheese making. Just when I think I knew something about goats, an animal communicator came into my life and helped me train the herd using a rope to establish their boundary, that each goats has it’s own thought and personality. Because animals don’t speak English, we have mistakenly categorized them as less intelligent, having less need. They can survive in the wild, have innate sensibilities and spending time with them always brings me into the moment. and gifts of knowledge. A true gift from our hooved and feathered.
