First 3D-printed Dress made for Dita Von Teese

Looks like now it takes an architect to make a dress. The author of this printed dress is architect Francis Bitonti, who worked together with the designer Michael Schmidt, in collaboration with Shapeways, the 3D printing marketplace. The dress was printed out of powdered nylon and has almost 3,000 articulated joints. It’s like a machine! 13,000 Swarowski crystals add to the poshness worn by the famous Dita von Teese.

Now print us a living dog! And make it’s hair shine in the dark!
